I swore never to buy another Steam deal game again but I am seriously tempted by Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising. Anyone here got some experience of it and how it plays these days?

Already grabbed the Oddworld Pack, always wanted to play these and for £2 I couldn't resist.

It's actually a pretty good game; it's not perfect and the main gripe people have with it is that it's not as hardcore as the original or ArmA.

If you're after something a bit more tactical than CoD then there's no reason not to buy it; just don't pay any attention to Codemasters' claim of it being the most realistic shooter ever

130gig @ 56kb/s just broke my calculater

edit: thanks for that Beanz. I loved the original for its 'realism', but for £3.30 I don't think I can go wrong even if it doesn't live up to the mighty expectations I would have for a sequel.

It takes some getting into to and is a tad slow but then it's fun.

There's an app for that.

I nearly clicked buy and then chickened out..I'm still playing Mass Effect 2 and Battlefield 1942 which leaves no time for a threesome! I'm going to hold out for a little longer in the hope of something really special to spend my precious cash and download cap on
