GameOn had the pleasure of having the opportunity to take part in an interview with cast members of the hit TV show ‘Heroes'

The new cast members that joined the show in Season 3 were asked how they have found joining such a popular show at this stage.
Brea - it was scary coming in to such an established show. I was worried that people would hate my character.
They all agreed that while it was difficult, the original cast members were so welcoming that they made things much easier.
David - In the original scripts my character was supposed to die after the first 2 episodes. However the writers liked the character so much they decided to keep me in the show.

They were asked how they found being at the MCM Expo event
They all agreed that it was one of the key UK events to attend and that it was great to have the opportunity to meet so many of the UK fans. They were not planning on attending any other events while they were in the UK, as they were all back at work on set next week.

They were asked if they had done any research on any superheroes to help them get in to character before starting filming for Heroes
Brea - I am a naturally fast person, which helped with my character, I talk fast. But I also did some research on other fast superheroes, ‘The Flash' and ‘Quick Silver'
Ken - I have been playing Tybalt in Shakespeare, so fell very easily in to playing a villain.
David - I did my research on Uncle Fester, and it worked!

Greg was asked about how he came to play in a band with Huge Laurie
Greg - It all happened after I guest stared in an episode of House, with Hugh (best known in the UK as half of the comedy duo ‘Fry and Laurie'). We formed the band ‘Band from TV' along with other celebrities, including Desperate Housewives stars James Denton and Teri Hatcher. I am the drummer in the band.
The band performs for charity. I support Epilepsy, while Hugh's selected charity is Save the Children. To date the band has raised over $2 million from our performances. We have a DVD available on Amazon.com called ‘Hoggin' all the Covers'.
Further information about the band can be found on http://www.bandfromtv.org.

During a special one-to one session with Greg, GameOn asked him the following questions

Greg Grunberg  Greg Grunberg

Out of all the parts you have played, which part have you enjoyed the most?
Greg - Although I have enjoyed many of the roles I have played, my current role as Matt Parkman in Heroes is my favourite.

What has been your most demanding role?
Greg - The character of Carter Abbey in 'Hollowman' was the most demanding role. It involved 9 months of work with Green screen, Sci-Fi and lots of special effects.

Do you play any computer games?
Greg - I have appeared as the voice for one of the main characters in the game ‘Condemned : Criminal Origins', which was very interesting.
Having 3 boys, we mostly play sports games. Our current favourites are NBA 09 and the racing game Gran Turismo. I also love playing ‘Super Monkey Balls on the i-Phone at the moment.

What films / TV shows will you be working on next?
Greg - Apart from 10 more episodes of Heroes I have written and produced a film called ‘Group Sex'. I am also working on something with the director of ‘Saw'

Who has been your favourite actor / actress that you have worked with?
Greg - I would have to say Keri Russell who I worked with on 'Felicity' and Jennifer Garner on ‘Alias'. They were both great people as well as being fantastic actors. I also enjoy working with Hayden (Panettiere) in Heroes. I find it is much better to be working with people who you have to play up to, it makes you better. Like in sport, it is more likely to improve your game if you play against someone better.

from the photos it looks like Jess is doing the asking...but then you get this answer

Fortunately he answered that one very quietly, in my direction. I won't tell you what her version of the notes said, but she definately did NOT hear his answer correctly

Not a smooth chat up line IMO.

"So yeah, I've filmed stuff about sex you know, also I've spoken to people who depict grisly deaths on the big screen"
