A Huge List Of Games Which Are Hitting Gamescom 2012 Including HALF LIFE 3

For your reading pleasure we've been handed a .pdf with a list of games which are being showcased this week during Europes largest trade show event, Gamescom.

Now I hope you're sitting comfortably as this list is quite substantial, three pages infact, but the only one we care about here at GG towers is what is listed for Valve.

HALF LIFE 3.

Yes, you read that correctly, if this list holds any weight then finally, at long f**king last, after years of pain; we're finally getting to see some glimpse of the next chapter(s) of Gordon Freeman.

Is this going to be powered by the rumoured Source 2 engine? Could this just be some massive troll by Valve and in reality this list is as about as useful as an empty can of Beanz in DayZ? We can only wait and see but in the mean time you can check out the full list right here. http://www.gamescom-cologne.com/media/gamescom/downloads/pdf/presse/Neuheitenliste.pdf

I still don't understand. I'm really excited to see how disappointed I get, though.

I'm not hugely excited for Half Life 3 but I am for Source 3 Engine and what that brings: TF3, CS:3 etc. etc. etc.

I should probably play and finish the current Half Life games then really shouldn't I!

Other games on that list that interest me are,

Devil May Cry
Dragon Age 3
Castlevania: Mirror of Fate
Silent Hill: Book of Memories - even though it looks like complete ****.
A Game Of Dwarves - saw some playthrough footage of this and it looked fun
Final Fantasy VII + XIV: A Realm Reborn
And last but not least, Injustice: Gods Among Us

They are still using Source Kris, they have Source 2 in the works with hints to it in TF2 files and Source Filmmaker files but Source 3? Have you got some flux capacitor enabled vehicle we don't know about?

It's probably wiser to get excited about a Source 3 engine than Half Life 3.

Its a mistake apparently, wouldn't surprise me if its Valve trolling

I'm not as disappointed as I thought I would be. It's be so long I actually think I'm starting to not care.

I don't think I have ever cared.

If this was 2/3 years ago I'd have been excited as hell. The Episodes do nothing for me though, and with it being so long since a real Half Life game I just don't care anymore. Whenever it arrives I'll get it and play it, but I won't even be as remotely as excited as I would have been a few years ago.
