Looking forward to this, didn't really get into BF3 for a number of reasons, this does look like they are taking it to the next level.

From what I see the commander is back and can command from mobile devices?

I lost interest in Battlefield after BF2. That was sufficiently dumbed down to make it a less satisfying game than 1942 and DC and I did have a go with BF3 but just couldn't get into it. Now they just seem to want to churn out an annual money spinner like MW.

Dumbed down? how?, only thing I really saw that was missing from BF3 was commander mode and that's back now with BF4?

BF3 is still way above COD in terms of a team based shooter.

The collapsing subway looks like an interesting addition; quite how many sections they'll have, and whether we'll be able to take out bridges again, is another matter.

I was saying BF2 was dumbed down not BF3. I can't comment on BF3 as I've hardly played it at all.

Ahh right ok, I thought BF2 had a lot more than 1942, the only thing I missed was the drivable ships.

Interested to hear your thoughts on the matter?

Desert combat was just plain fun though
