Keiji Inafune and Mighty No. 9 on Kickstarter

Keiji Inafune and his team of veteran Japanese game creators are on kickstarter, awaiting your backing to start the spiritual successor to Mega Man.

The game is called Mighty No. 9 and in with 26 days left has already met its original funding goal of $900,000 and is sitting pretty at $1,606,833. That doesn't mean it doesn't need more backers though as the stretch goals will make it accessible to other consoles as well as helping add more content, and even a behind-the-scenes video documentary.

With some very nice tier rewards on offer here, and the chance to be a part of gaming history it's definitely worth taking a look.
