No more DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

If you were wondering when the next DLC pack for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim would be released then you’re going to be disappointed by the answer... never.

Bethesda Game Studios announced yesterday on their Bethblog that there would only be “minor updates” in Skyrim’s future due to taking their latest major project to the next phase in its production. It obvious from the blog that Skyrim really has been a labour of love, and moving on from it is causing as much heartache as it will from us loyal fans.

Of course the closing of one door, is the opening of another and begs the question of what this new project could be. No doubt there will be plenty of speculation on the topic, and we will be keeping our excited eyes peeled for a Bethesda announcement at this year’s E3. Whatever it is, we’re sure it will be a crowd pleaser!

I've not got round to actually playing any of the DLC yet - the mods kept me busy. From what I've heard though, it's pretty decent.

It would have been hard for them to top Dragonborn anyway. I don't see what else they could have added.

I still need to get back into it to properly scour Solstheim. I had to rush it to completion for review so I missed a LOT of content on there, plus I've still got to finish the Dawnguard side of... Dawnguard.

And I've never done the Mages Guild or Dark Brotherhood yet. Or the Thieves Guild. Haven't found all the shouts.

Yeah, me and Allie still got lots of 'splorin to do even with no more new content.

I've done the College twice, Civil War with Stormcloaks and Dawnguard - 150 hours in so still plenty to go.

Just maxed my Enchanting skill. I now have an Ebony Sword that does 140 damage...

I've also not found all the Deadra statues, I've never maxed out a single skill, I still need to choose a side in the civil war because I can't decide who is less of a dick, and more besides.

It still amuses me I was so disillusioned by Oblivion I assumed I'd never like another TES game.
