Warcraft Movie Starts Filming in January

Legendary Pictures have set up camp at Canadian Motion Picture Park in Vancouver, British Columbia and have stated that they intend to start filming for the new World of Warcraft movie in January 2014.

It looks like Director Duncan Jones is the likely Director for the film, and with the excitement the trailer caused at this year's Comic-Con, we hope he does the game justice.

It's been rumored for bloody ages and the WoW community sighs collectively when it's mentioned. However, I think the mood has changed now. <shrugs> There will also be people who say "that's not how I imagined it!".

I've never really had much interest in WoW, but if Duncan Jones is directing the movie then I'll definitely check it out.

Duncan Jones directing means I'll see it but I really don't see it doing that well at the box office.

Unlike the new Ben-man movie I'll be keeping an open mind about this.

It'll be interesting to see where they go with it given how HUGELY vast the lore of WoW is.
