Watch Troy Baker Read a Killing Joke Monologue

Troy Baker has decided to silence his critics by reading the Joker's monologue from Alan Moore's Batman: The Killing Joke. 


Baker takes over from fan-favourite Mark Hamill for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins. The choice to re-cast the character has been met with mixed and doubtful reception.

Mark Hamill's run as the voice of the Joker lasted for over 20 years and spanned various television series and video games. Troy Baker's impressive credentials include Booker DeWitt in Bioshock Infinite and Joel in The Last of Us, as well as many other gaming and anime roles.

Nah.. Trying too hard. Hamill made it seem easy, he IS the joker (and "Cock-Knocker" so he Wins).

It sounds pretty good to me, but I think Troy Barker is doing far too much in the gaming industry. Don't get me wrong, he's great! I just think that some other people might be good too. Especially when they start to use his likeness in the characters themselves.

He sounds like he is forcing himself to sound like the Joker, almost to the point of doing an Impression.
