Xbox One Delayed in Eight Markets

Microsoft has reduced the number of markets that will be receiving the Xbox One on its release day by eight.

Originally at twenty-one markets as announced at the E3 Press Conference, now they will only be shipping out to thirteen of them in November, with the rest having to wait until 2014 for theirs.

The thirteen confirmed markets are:
• Australia
• Austria
• Brazil
• Canada
• France
• Germany
• Ireland
• Italy
• Mexico
• Spain
• United Kingdom
• United States
• New Zealand

And the unfortunate eight missing out are:
• Belgium
• Denmark
• Finland
• Netherlands
• Norway
• Russia
• Sweden
• Switzerland

Those who live in the eight markets who have to wait until 2014 and have already pre-ordered are being encouraged by Microsoft to contact their local retailer for any questions they might have. Also a pack (contents of which to be announced) will be given to these people in 2014 to make up for the delay.

On a serious note though I can see this hurting them, generally whichever console is out first seems to get a god head start on sales.
