Xbox One Will Automatically Record Achievement Unlocks

The Xbox One's DVR system will automatically record gameplay when players unlock achievements, it has been stated.

The Xbox One will keep a continuous record of your most recent gameplay, allowing you to capture unexpected moments. Game developers will mark fun and interesting gameplay moments to be saved and stored, such as achievement unlocks.

Alternatively, gamers can issue commands either by voice or controller to go back and save recent moments, ensuring you never miss capturing those once-in-a-life-time headshots or hilarious glitches.

You can, of course, choose to record all your gameplay anyway.

Sharing your saved footage will be restricted to Xbox Live at launch. Microsoft hope that support for social networking sites such as Youtube and Facebook will come later.
