Black Legend: Meet the Game's Crazed Cult and Bleak Historical Setting
The dark, open world Black Legend, developer Warcave's upcoming turn-based tactics title, is certainly a bleak one. Releasing on the 25th March for PC and console, the game thrusts players into the 17th Century city of Grant, a place under the control of a bloodthirsty fanatical cult known as the Mephistian Cultists. Taking control of one of 15 playable classes, players will take on a pivotal role in the city's resistance, engaging the cultists in an alchemy-based strategic combat system, combining both ranged and melee attacks.
Will they overthrow the oppressive cult and put an end to the fog clouding the city, brewed by evil alchemist Mephisto? You'll have to play the game to find out, and with a slew of difficulty settings—ranging from leisurely to downright brutal—even turn-based strategy novices will be able to experience the game's story.
Black Legend releases on the 25th March for PC, Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
