Check Out The Walking Dead: Destinies' Trailer and Learn More

It's been a few years now since fans of The Walking Dead found themselves crying at the heartbreaking turns and twists of Telltale's series, but thankfully, the comics have been kept alive through numerous more titles across many platforms. One of the most recent ones is now available, and if you haven't heard about The Walking Dead: Destinies, then buckle up — we'd love to tell you about it!

As I said, there have been many games that dabble into Kirkman's idea, but none of them have explored the branching possibilities of "what ifs"; fans of other comic books, such as Marvel, will immediately understand that this means we're all in for quite the ride.

In TWD: Destinies, players will explore the many changes that come from the butterfly effect, even starting from the early pivotal turns: what if Shane had killed Rick? Every decision could change the lives of the beloved cast in dramatic ways, but there's only one way of finding out.

Of course, peeking into what-ifs isn't the only thing this title has to offer. Players can expect to fight the dreaded walkers in a third-person perspective with an array of weapons, from bats and katanas to revolvers and crossbows. And for those who are more interested in the roster than the armoury, you'll be glad to know that there are a total of twelve iconic characters to play, from Rick and Daryl to Michonne and Shane. Last but not least, don't get too comfortable popping snacks whenever you're bored because you'll need to scrounge up all the resources available to survive the apocalypse. After all, it wouldn't be a proper The Walking Dead without scarcity of food and ammo!

Get ready to defend your camp, discover the branching turning points, and survive in Flux Games and GameMill Entertainment's latest title, The Walking Dead: Destinies. The game is out now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Keep an eye out for the PC release on the 1st of December!
