DC Universe Online Now Available for Xbox One

After being announced months ago, Daybreak Game Company has now officially released the massively multiplayer online superhero game, DC Universe Online on the Xbox One.

In DCUO, players get to create their very own super hero or super villain giving them a mix and match of their favourite superpowers from iconic heroes and villains. You can also play as one of 40 different DC Comics characters in Legends PvP and PvE game modes.

The Xbox One release will contain all previously released episodes, ongoing events as well as some new stories and challenges. These also include: content inspired by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, DC Legends of Tomorrow, and content based on Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Darksied and more. 

Not only that, just like its PC and PlayStation counterparts, it's entirely free to play. Well, with one slight exception on Xbox, as it requires an Xbox Live Gold membership. Still, if you're already a paying member it's free.

Just keep in mind that the base game is free to play, but additional episodes, legends characters and power are available to purchase individually or part of an optional DCUO Membership.
