Elite: Dangerous 1.1 Update Trailer

Showing off just one of the new features in Update 1.1, this trailer illustrates the community goals.

There will now be set missions that can be taken on by hundreds of players at a time, which will be things such as - for instance - gathering materials to construct a station. Once a goal is reached, the player who contributed most to the station, or capital ship, will be able to name it! Within certain guidelines.

Update 1.1 also brings with it city lights on planets and route planning up to 1,000 light years.
