God of War is Coming to PC

Long after countless rumours, through a blog post, PlayStation has finally announced that their mega-hit title God of War is making its way to PCs on 14th January 2022.

Grace Orlady, community manager at Santa Monica, wrote that the studio has been ‘humbled by the immense amount of support and passions fans of the God of War series have shown in the latest chapter of Kratos’ story since its release.’ Santa Monica also revealed that the game sold 19.55 million copies as of August 2021 on the PS4 and that they can’t ‘wait to share that experience with a whole new group of players on PC.’

PlayStation executive, Jim Ryan, has previously expressed that he wants 100s of million players playing PlayStation exclusives and the company has been determined to bring their critically acclaimed roster of games to PC. They have brought big named titles like Days Gone, Uncharted 4, and Horizon Zero Dawn to PC as well.

The PC version of God of War will feature many improvements like support for 4K resolutions, unlocked framerates, ultra-widescreen displays, and will also have Nvidia DLSS support. Fully mappable keyboard and mouse and controller setups will both be supported. For the list of all the enhancements, you can head over to the PlayStation Blog post.
