Halo's Co-creator Joins EA to Build a New Studio

Co-creator of the Halo franchise at Bungie, Marcus Lehto, announced on Twitter that he will be joining EA as Game Director for a new studio in the Seattle area, where he will be working on first-person games.

Lehto was one of the founding members of the Halo franchise. He served as the art director on its first three instalments, and as creative director for Halo: Reach.

It seems we've finally found out what he meant on his tweet from the 21st of September, where he mentioned that he'd be making big decisions with his career, mentioning that "Some of you will support it, some will not."

The new EA studio will be based around the Seattle area.
