Jamie Lee Curtis Cast in the Upcoming Borderlands Movie

Hollywood icon Jamie Lee Curtis has been cast as Patricia Tannis in the upcoming Borderlands movie, Gearbox has revealed. She will star alongside Cate Blanchett (Lilith) and Kevin Hart (Roland) in the film based on the original Borderlands game.

Curtis will have to keep her wit sharp and emotions blunt as the apathetic archaeologist Patricia Tannis. Stranded on the lawless planet of Pandora after a research expedition gone wrong, Tannis learns to survive by abandoning her humanity and living purely for the pursuit of knowledge. There aren't many characters more interesting than Tannis in the Borderlands franchise. It'll be interesting to see how Curtis brings the character to life.

Known for helping cement the slasher genre as Laurie Strode in the Halloween franchise, Jamie Lee Curtis will bring yet more star power to the on-screen adaptation of Gearbox's open world looter-shooter.
