Serious Sam 4 Receives Official Modding Tools and Steam Workshop Support

Developer Croteam has launched Serious Editor 2021, the official modding tools for Serious Sam 4. The tools, which are powered by the Serious Engine, are available now on Steam, with full Steam Workshop support.

Serious Editor 2021 comes with a slew of improvements over previous Serious Sam mod creation suites, with Croteam citing a new terrain editor, improved battle systems, vehicle support and upgraded scripting tools as the most significant changes.

In addition, Croteam, led by Serious Sam 2 modder and Croteam member Nathan Brown, has released an update for 2005's Serious Sam 2. The update offers a new weapon, a collection of gameplay improvements (radar, sprinting, universal dual-wielding and more) and 12 previously unreleased multiplayer maps.

Serious Editor 2021, the modding suite for Serious Sam 4, is available now on Steam.
