Square Enix Presents Event Announced for Next Week

A slew of updates and announcements will be made in the debut 'Square Enix Presents' event on the 18th March. The digital event, available to view on YouTube and Twitter, will begin at 5pm GMT, lasting 40 minutes and featuring several new game announcements.

While many of the game announcements and updates are for mobile platforms—including news on the upcoming Just Cause mobile game—there's plenty for PC and console players to look forward to. Most notably, the announcement of a new Life is Strange game, which has been confirmed for the event in addition to announcements from Square Enix's sister company TAITO.

On top of that, updates on Outriders, Balan Wonderworld and Marvel's Avengers are confirmed for the event. Finally, the event will, in some unknown way, celebrate the 25th anniversary of Tomb Raider. It's not clear whether this means that a Tomb Raider announcement is inbound.

The Square Enix Presents digital event will stream via YouTube and Twitch on the 18th March at 5pm GMT.
