Teaser Trailer - MechWarrior 5: Clans Arriving Next Year

Piranha Games have unveiled a teaser trailer for MechWarrior 5: Clans which is set to take us back to the Clan Invasion conflicts last seen in 1995's MechWarrior 2.

The game will see you follow the elite five-mech squad, a "Star", from the Smoke Jaguar clan as they complete their training on their home world of Huntress just before the Clan Invasion kicks off in the year 3050.

The Clan Invasion is a pivotal moment in BattleTech history, affecting every faction across the Inner Sphere. MechWarrior 5: Clans follows 2019's MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries and will build off what Piranha accomplished with that game.

The campaign will span a variety of planets and will tell an intricately crafted story as the time period allows for impressive technological advances as the Clan Invasion marches on. Piranha claim the game will be the perfect stepping-on point for those new to the franchise as well as being the game veterans have been waiting for.
