Time Looping Shooter Quantum League Leaving Early Access

Nimble Giant Entertainment has announced that its unique time looping multiplayer shooter Quantum League will be leaving Steam Early Access on the 15th April. Preview the game's finished state in the newly-released trailer above.

Set in a future where time manipulation technology has transformed competitive sport, Quantum League pits players (solo or in teams of two) against each other in a series of consecutive rounds. The twist? Each player's movements and actions in previous rounds will repeat, meaning that players will be fighting alongside previous versions of themselves and against previous versions of their foes in conjunction with the 'live' versions. This adds a wholly unique layer of depth to the strategy of Quantum League, one that no other game can match.

Originally showcased in the Experimental Gameplay Workshop at GDC 2018, Quantum League has come a long way since its inception. In addition to new characters, weapons and modes, the game has also introduced a suite of Esport-friendly features like spectator modes and match replays.

It's a undoubtedly brain-bending take on the first-person shooter. If you're interested, Quantum League is available now on Steam at a 50% discount prior to its launch out of Early Access.

Quantum League leaves Steam Early Access on the 15th April. A release on the Switch is planned for a later date.
