Two Point Hospital: JUMBO Edition Has Replaced the Base Game on Two Console Platforms

The JUMBO Edition of Two Point Studios' management sim Two Point Hospital has replaced the base game on both the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop. The feature-packed version of the game—which includes the Retro Items Pack and Exhibition Items Pack, as well as the Close Encounters and Off the Grid expansions—released earlier this month on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Switch. If you wanted to buy the base game for those platforms, however, the Microsoft Store is now the only place you can do so.

On the Nintendo eShop, a notice has been added to the Two Point Hospital store page. It states: "After 05/03/2021 (8am GMT), Two Point Hospital will only be available as part of Two Point Hospital: JUMBO Edition."

The base game's position on Xbox as part of the Game Pass library could explain its continued availability on the platform. Furthermore, the original and JUMBO editions of Two Point Hospital both cost £34.99 on the Switch; it was possible the original was removed to avoid any confusion or upset from customers.

Two Point Hospital: JUMBO Edition is out now on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch.
