The 125 Countries Possibly Affected by HELLDIVERS 2's Mandatory PlayStation Network Account

EDIT: This has now since been changed — check out our other news piece for information.

Arrowhead Game Studios has announced the upcoming mandatory shift into requiring a PlayStation Network account in order to be able to access HELLDIVERS 2. New players will be affected first, whilst old players that have been enjoying the game will have an extra month before they are forced to make the change as well. Learn more about that change right here.

That said, however, there are many concerns regarding countries that aren't allowed to create PlayStation Network accounts, to which Arrowhead Game Studios is yet to be able to provide an answer for. Bypassing the limitations via VPN is a bannable offence, so there are innumerable amounts of players that will be affected by this change. This change will begin on the 6th of May for new players and 4th of June for old players.
